Frank Yount Jr., 73, of Fenton died May 19, 2022. Mr. Yount loved spending time with his family, especially attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was a talented welder and loved to create things with his hands. He also liked hunting and visiting the Lake of the Ozarks. Born Nov. 24, 1948, in Perryville, he was the son of the late Vera (Rudolph) and Frank Yount Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years: Bonnie (Setlich) Yount of Fenton, who he married on November 18, 1972. He also is survived by two children: Neil (Shannon) Yount of Waterloo, Ill., and Nick (Amy) Yount of Eureka: four grandchildren: Andrew, Adam, Haley and Wyatt Yount; a brother: Randy (Carole) Yount of Arnold; a niece: Luann (Jay) Domek of Imperial; a nephew: Jess (Angie) Yount of Arnold; one great-nephew: Jackson Yount; one great-niece: Randie Domek, his wife Bonnie’s three siblings: Lonnie (Petra) Setlich of Cleveland, Tenn., Margo (Bill) Willis of Phoenix, Ariz., and Ron Setlich of St. Charles; Bonnie’s eight nieces and nephews; and many extended relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law: Margo Setlich: a sister-in-law: Connie Davis; and a brother-in-law: Ron Davis.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
