Frances A. “Sissy” (Baskas) Radochonski, 95, of Chicago, Ill., died Oct. 3, 2019, at Festus Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Radochonski was retired from a long career with United Air Lines and the United Binocular Co. in Chicago. She was a member of St. Gall Parish in Chicago and supported St. Gall School and Catholic education. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, attending theater performances and spending time with her family. Born Jan. 24, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elisabeth Baskas. She was preceded in death by her husband: John C. Radochonski.
She is survived by a son: Gary (Nancy) Radoch; a granddaughter: Katie Radoch, a sister: Stel (Joseph) Miklosh, five nieces and nephews: Jerry (Katherine) Leases, Dave Miklosh, Tom “Tommy” Miklosh, James “Jimmy” Miklosh and Carol “CBass” Baskas.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Christine “Tea” Forrester; two brothers-in-law: Frank Leases and Richard "Dick" Forrester; three brothers: Walter “Wally” Baskas, John “JB” Baskas and Charles “Hockey” Baskas; and a nephew: Robert "Rob" Leases.
Funeral services and burial were private. Arrangements were under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
