Frances A. Ravellette, 84, of Crystal City died Dec. 31, 2020, at Festus Manor Nursing Center. She was a professional baker for the former Tip Top Bakery and the National Food Store in Crystal City. Her passion was taking care of and feeding her family and friends. She also was an avid antique collector and enjoyed yard sales. Born Aug. 1, 1936, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore “Sam” and Angelina (Tamburello) Pumo.
She is survived by two daughters: Connie Kuchera of Crystal City and Monique (Kim Nicholson) Ravellette of Alabama; two sons: Robert “Bob” (Kim) Ravellette of Festus and Sam (Barb) Rush of Crystal City; five grandchildren: Sam (Mika) Kuchera, Erin (Tim) Speidel, Nikki (Chris) Barker, Ryan Ravellette and Angela Ravellette; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son: Eric A. Ravellette.
Private family services were planned. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
