Forrest Allen, 82, of De Soto died May 28, 2022, in De Soto. Mr. Allen worked as a tool and die maker for Boeing. He was a member of the Mississippi River Eagles and the Boeing Retirement Club. Born June 21, 1939, in Patterson, he was the son of the late Pearl Chiles and Lionel Allen.
He is survived by his wife: Shirley (Poole) Allen of De Soto; three sons: Frosty (Dawn) Allen of O'Fallon, Scott Allen of Maryland Heights and Dennis Bartch of Wentzville; and a grandson: Matthew (Sarah) Allen.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at the Mississippi River Eagles, 330 Bailey Road, in Crystal City. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
