Floyd Joseph Bequette, 63, of De Soto died May 10, 2026, at his home. Born Jan. 10, 1963, in St. Louis, he was the son of Judith (Bequette) Fadler and the late Robert “Bob” Fadler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Melissa (Barton) Bequette.
He is survived by a son: Joseph Clark; four stepchildren: Shawn (Jamie) Barton, Wayne Barton, Tisha Martin and Richard Martin; a granddaughter: Katelynn Jorboe; several stepchildren; and his mother-in-law: Seva Lenz.
Memorial gathering will be from 5 p.m. until time of services at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
