Fay M. Lewis, 93, of Bonne Terre died July 21, 2022, at her home. Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker. She was born Feb. 24, 1929, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Edmond and Myrtle (Drennen) Spurgin.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Harold Lewis.
She is survived by two sons: Timothy (Pam) Lewis of Old Mines and Rodney Lewis of French Village; a brother: Clyde Spurgin of Greenbriar, Ark.; and three grandchildren: Andrew, Joe and Emma.
She was preceded in death by a son: Gary Lewis; four brothers: Duane, Bill, Carl and Marvin Spurgin; and three sisters: Jacqueline Caine, Rita Kay Spurgin and Gerri Sullens.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., De Soto. Funeral services officiated by Paul Eye will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 28, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Luckey Cemetery, De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
