Everett E. Hearst, 73, of Barnhart died Nov. 25, 2021, at Country Meadows in Park Hills. Mr. Hearst was a U.S. Army veteran, serving with the 173rd Airborne Division during the Vietnam War. He was born May 7, 1948, in St. Louis, the son of the late Herminia (Schmidt) and Everett Hearst.
He is survived by a sister: Cindy (Terry) Brooks of Barnhart; a brother: Russell (Yvonne) Hearst of De Soto; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister: Karen Kinder.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks, officiated by the Rev. Derek Jones. Burial with full military honors will follow. Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans. Arrangements are under the direction of Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.
