Evelyn Ruth (Jenne) Jett, 92, of Crystal City died March 3, 2022, at Crystal Oaks Nursing and Rehab Center in Crystal City. Ms. Jett worked as an electrical manufacturer for McDonnell Douglas for more than 20 years and was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. She enjoyed animals, especially dogs, shopping, traveling and visiting Branson. Born Feb. 20, 1930, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Lena Bernreuter and Walter Jenne. She was preceded in death by her husband: Norman Jett.
She is survived by a son: David Jett of Hillsboro; four grandchildren: Kelle Jett, Macey Jett, Daniel Jett and Roxanne Partney; three great-grandchildren: Abigail, Megan and Drew; and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Deborah Harmon; and a daughter-in-law: Sandra Jett.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
