Eunice Barbara O’Gorman, 89, of Festus died April 17, 2022, at her home. Mrs. O’Gorman lived a rich and interesting life with integrity, industry, love and humor. She loved to travel, especially to places of natural and wild beauty. She loved poetry and fairy stories, and every child who ever sat in her lap was treated to her reading stories and nursery rhymes and singing them to sleep with Irish lullabies. She was born April 18, 1932 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, the daughter of the late Henry and Constance Rundle.
She is survived by her husband of 75 years: Arthur "Eddie" O’Gorman, whom she met April 15, 1947; four sons: Errol (Ann), Alan, Russell (Michelle) and Sean; a daughter: Kathryn Robinson; a sister: Elaine (Rob) Land; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother: Eldred Rundle.
A funeral Mass was held April 25 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Festus. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
