Ethel M. (Bess) Mueller, 91, of St. Louis died Dec. 25, 2020. Mrs. Mueller worked in the medical field for more than 30 years. Before retiring, she worked for 10 years at Costco as a food demonstrator. She was born May 21, 1929, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Orville and Edna Bess. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years: John A Mueller.
She is survived by a daughter: Carol Ann (Bob) Ivy; a granddaughter: Emily Ann Mucci; a great-grandchild: Nicholas Mucci; two siblings-in-law: Marilyn Bess and Marion Wood-Smith; and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation is at 12:30 and a funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec.30, at Assumption Catholic Church, 4725 Mattis Road, in south St. Louis County. Burial will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery in Saint Louis. Memorials may be made to St. Pius X Catholic High School, 1030 St. Pius Drive, Festus, 63028. Arrangements are under the direction of Hoffmeister South County Funeral Home.
