Elva M. Brandon, 75, of Hillsboro died Dec. 20, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Brandon worked for H&R Block in the Sikeston area and later retired after 33 years working for the St. Louis Public Schools. She was a member of New Hope Fellowship Church in Hillsboro and enjoyed bingo. Born June 6, 1944, in Sikeston, she was the daughter of the late Gladys (Harris) and Murphy Deal.
She is survived by a daughter: Regina M. (Pat) Leonard of Hillsboro; two sons: Robert A. (Juanita) Lall of House Springs and Richard A. (Dawn) Lall of Fenton; 15 grandchildren: Christina, Jonathan, JoAnne, Ellen, Lisa, Robert Jr., Sarah, Carmen, MaryAnn, Crystal, Lindsey, Paula, Shelby, Jacob and Joyce; 24 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son: William Lall; four brothers: Howard, Lindell, Delbert and Robert Deal; and a sister: Ally Mae Storie.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, at Robert D. Brown Funeral Home, 103 Fourth St., Hillsboro. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery in Hillsboro. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home.
