Eleanor V. Koch, 91, of Arnold died Sept. 23, 2021, in Arnold. Mrs. Koch was a homemaker and a charter member of St. Mark United Church of Christ in Arnold. She was born Jan. 7, 1930, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Hilda (Vasel) Meyer and Louis Meyer.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years: Norman J. Koch.
She is survived by two daughters: Janet (Ed) Clausen of Fayetteville, Ark., and JoAnn Ploesser of Arnold; four grandchildren: Charles (Cristina) Ploesser Jr. of Fenton; Karen (Joshua) Reed of Springfield; Christopher (Heather) Ploesser of Imperial and Jennifer (Clint) Mudrick of Chesterfield; and four great-grandchildren: Charlie and Carson Ploesser of Fenton; Blaine Baker of Fenton and Jacob Reed of Springfield, and one on the way, Ryan Mudrick of Chesterfield; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Evelyn Walter and Myrtle Taake; and a brother: Louis Meyer.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Funeral services officiated by the Rev. Kim Brinkmann will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at St. Mark United Church of Christ, 1861 Missouri State Road, Arnold, following visitation at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery, Barnhart. Memorials may be made to St. Mark United Church of Christ, Arnold.
