Edward Walter, 77, of St. Louis died May 14, 2022, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Mr. Walter was a medical school librarian. Born July 17, 1944, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Ella (Lueckenhoff) and Elmer Walter.
He is survived by a brother-in-law: Frank Kutilek; and several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by a sister: Betty Kutilek.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Arnold. Burial is in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Perryville. Memorials may be made to the Chris Kutilek Scholarship fund at Maryville University. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home in south St. Louis County.
