Edward Andrew Stegall, 58, of Moro, Ill., died Dec. 19, 2020, at his home. Mr. Stegall was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the Air National Guard. He worked for the Saint Gobain bottle plant in Pevely before moving to Illinois to work for the Phillips 66 Wood River refinery. He enjoyed camping, sports and fishing, but the most important thing to him was spending time with his family. He was born Nov. 6, 1962, in St. Louis, the son of the late Thelma (Hughes) and Freddy Oliver Stegall.
He is survived by two sons: Andrew Stegall of Herculaneum and Trevor Stegall of Anoka, Minn.; a sister: Kathleen (Dan) Grady of Imperial; six brothers: Robert Stegall of Columbia, Fred Stegall of Herculaneum, Tom (Carol) Stegall of De Soto, Charles (Rhonda) Stegall of St. Anne, Ill., Derek Stegall of Festus and Bob Stegall of Festus; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is at 11 a.m. and a funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
