Edna Pauline (Davis) Boyer, 89, of Blackwell died Sept. 15, 2021, at NHC Healthcare in Desloge. Mrs. Boyer was a homemaker. Born April 2, 1932, in Blackwell, she was the daughter of the late George Washington and Mary Plina (Sansoucie) Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband: Joseph Wilford Boyer.
She is survived by three children: Dwight “Jack” Davis of De Soto, Joseph Douglas Boyer of Blackwell and Curtis Boyer of Blackwell; a brother: Paul (Ruth) Davis of De Soto; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by four brothers: Jim Davis, Tim Davis, Orville Davis and Milton Davis; and four sisters: Valle Boyer, Alta Rawe, Florence Thurman and Lucy Yates.
A funeral service was held Sept. 20 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto, officiated by Deacon Ed Boyer. Burial was in the St. Joachim Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
