Earl Andrew Magre Jr., 62, of Festus died May 16, 2020, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. A 1976 graduate of St. Pius X High School, Mr. Magre worked as a machinist before he moved out of state. Born Jan. 29, 1958, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Henrietta Josephine (Rigdon) and Earl Andrew Magre Sr.
He is survived by three brothers: Baron Magre of Memphis, Tenn., Eric (Kelli) Magre of Festus and Marty Magre of Festus; a niece: Holly Magre of Festus; three nephews: Andrew Magre of Festus, Justin (Megan) Smith of Hillsboro and Michael Smith of Bonne Terre; and a great-niece: Emmelynne Smith.
He was preceded in death by a sister-in-law: Christy Linn Magre.
Graveside funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City, officiated by Jerry Stoverink. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home, Festus.
