Dorothy Roberts, 92, of Lincoln died Oct. 4, 2020, at Lincoln Community Care Center. Mrs. Roberts was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and making quilts and dolls. She was thoughtful and generous. Born Sept. 3, 1928, in Granite City, Ill., she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Letha Mae (Harper) Washburn.
She was preceded in death by her husband: William Russell Roberts.
She is survived by a daughter: Gail Michael) Collins of Warsaw.
She also was preceded in death by two sisters: Patsy Ruppert and Gladys Pauline Washburn; and a brother: Calvin Washburn.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday (Oct. 8) at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by Rev. Mike Blank. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to Lincoln Community Center, 205 Timberline Dr., Lincoln, 65338. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
