Dorothy Maxine Doggett, 88, of High Ridge died April 27, 2023, in Cape Girardeau. Mrs. Doggett was an avid crafter, painter and seamstress. She attended the First Baptist Church of House Springs. Born Dec. 31, 1934, in Cape Girardeau, she was the daughter of the late Katherine (Lincoln) and Dayton Mayfield.
She was preceded in death by two husbands: William Doggett and Cecil Pulliam.
She is survived by three children: Jeannie (Terry) Moore, DeAnn (Tom) Brunts and Sheri (Randy) Lowen; three grandchildren: Eric, Paul and Metta; several nieces and nephews; and numerous family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by six siblings: Shelby, Hobert, Darrell, Floyd and Wayne Mayfield and Faye Dockins.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, Cedar Hill, immediately followed by funeral services. A graveside service will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
