Dorothy “Dottie” Haggard, 71, of Hillsboro died Sept. 25, 2017, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. Haggard was a custodian in the Kirkwood School District. Born Nov. 17, 1945, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Chambers and Pearl Haffer.
She is survived by her husband: Ronald W. Haggard; two sons: Phillip (Jody) Stubblefield of Festus and Jerry Stubblefield of Imperial; one daughter: Tammy (Ronald) Ireland of De Soto; six grandchildren: Christina (Mike) Testa, Tonya (Justin) Brewer, Josh Stubblefield, Phillip (fiancée Chelsi) Stubblefield, Crystal Little and Timothy Luebbers; four great-grandchildren: Norah, Addison, Madilynn and Braxton and nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son: Ronald W. Haggard Jr.; and a daughter: Theresa Lynn (surviving Darren Boyer) Haggard.
Visitation is 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today (Sept. 28) at Kutis Funeral Home South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday (Sept. 29) at the funeral home, officiated by Mike Sacca. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
