Doris L. DuRain, 86, of Farmington died Feb. 15, 2018, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. DuRain was an assembly worker for White Rogers. Born Feb. 10, 1932, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Laura (Heggi) Kemper-Graul and Theodore Kemper. She was preceded in death by her husband: Rolland LeRoy DuRain.
She is survived by three children: Judith (Floyd) Brewer of Acworth, Ga., Debra (Kevin) Tinker of Farmington and Roy (Debra) DuRain of Green River, Wyo.; a brother: Harold Kemper of De Soto; and seven grandchildren: Brian (Beverly) Brewer, Letta (Shane) Loggins, Brenda DuRain, Dawn Richardson, Liz Lowell, Connie (Chad) Allen and Jody Fluckiger.
She was preceded in death by a son: Ralph DuRain; a sister: Arlene Schonechoberg; and a half brother: William Obermeyer.
A memorial gathering is at noon and a memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by Shannon Skinner. Burial is in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
