Doris Ida Mc Clanahan, 97, of Festus died April 18, 2022, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus. Mrs. Mc Clanahan was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church in Festus. Born May 30, 1924, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Ida (Patton) and Harry Goodwin.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Leon Paul Mc Clanahan.
She is survived by two sons: Michael R. (Janet) Lednick of Festus and John E. (Sherri) Lednick of Lancaster, Ohio; two grandsons: Shawn M. (Rosalyn) Lednick and Jason M. Lednick; two granddaughters: Samantha A. Lednick and Kristin L. (Jerrud) Starkey; a step-granddaughter: Denise Allen; two great-granddaughters: Abby and Elize Lednick; two great-grandsons: Gabe Lednick and Andrew J. Starkey; and a step-great-granddaughter: Zoe Allen.
She was preceded in death by a stepdaughter: Karen K. Allen; three brothers: Harry Doyle (the late Marie) Goodwin, Howard Donald (the late Thelma) Goodwin and Charles Melvin (the late Alice) Goodwin; a sister: Genevieve (the late Myron “Pete”) Robinson; and a step-granddaughter: Kimberly Allen.
Services are private. A celebration of life will be held later. Memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
