Doris Emma (Boethelt) Ditzler, 86, of Grubville died July 13, 2022. Mrs. Ditzler was a homemaker. She was a member of the Eastern Star for 40 years and a member of the Concordia Turners for 35 years. Born Aug. 3, 1935, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Dorothea (Oswald) Boethelt.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Donald L. Ditzler.
She was survived by a grandson: Andrew Shephard; a nephew: Paul (Shelly) Isermann; a niece Karen D. Isermann; and great-niece: Carlie (Kyle) Uhlig.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter: Shelly (Ditzler) Shepard; and sister and brother-in-law: Jane and George D. Isermann.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home, 7027 Gravois Ave., in St. Louis. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 21, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Matthew Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home.
