Doris Ann Nations, 82, of Imperial died March 9, 2021, at her home. Mrs. Nations was a traffic manager in the logistics department at Golden Dipt(Now Kerry Industries) and a member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Antonia. She enjoyed cooking, always looking for new recipes to try on her extended family, and liked reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a registered professional clown, having taken classes along with her grandson, and enjoyed appearing at venues such as Applebees in Arnold, clowning and making balloon animals. Born June 22, 1938, in Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Frances (Uhring) and Edmond Willimann. She was preceded in death by her first husband: Carl Henry Wendler.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years: Lee I Nations of Imperial; four children: Donald (Cathy) Wendler of Hillsboro, Michael (Susan) Wendler of St. Louis, Charlene (Steve) Sowell of Arnold and Barbara White of Olympian Village; two stepchildren: Kenny (Jessica) Nations of Arkansas and Alan (Jeffrey) Nations of California; two siblings: Edmond (May) Willimannof Arizona and Brenda (Rob) Milcik of Illinois; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 15, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County, officiated by the Rev. Carleton Norton.
