Donna Kay (Miser) Watson, 73, Bismarck

Donna Kay (Miser) Watson, 73, of Bismarck, formerly of Wood River, Ill., died Feb. 8, 2022, at Fountainbleau Nursing Center in Festus. Mrs. Watson graduated from East Alton Wood River High School in 1966 and worked for more than 35 years as an aide and certified nursing assistant at various nursing homes in the area. She enjoyed garage sales and playing bingo. Born July 10, 1948, in Wood River, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Caroyln and Donald Bruce Miser.

She is survived by her husband: Jack Watson of Bismarck; a brother-in-law: Tom (Donna) Watson; two daughters: Ginger Warr of Meadowbrook, Ill., and Stacy (Wesley) Frymire Schmidt of Hot Springs, S.D.; a sister: Betty Miser; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

She also was preceded in death by a sister: Sue Greer.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at noon Monday (Feb. 14) at Basler Funeral Home, 685 Center Drive, in Ste. Genevieve. Burial will be in Crestlawn Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve. Memorials may be made to the Pentecostal Church of God in Bismarck. Arrangements are under the direction of Basler Funeral Home.
