Donald L. Fick, 80, of St. Louis died Jan. 15, 2021, in St. Louis. A certified public accountant, Mr. Fick retired after 50 years of running his own firm, eventually called Fick, Eggemeyer and Williamson. He was a charter member of the South County Branch of Connecting Businessmen to Christ. He was a volunteer and eventual leader of the Timothy Project and a volunteer at the New Life Evangelistic Center. He held numerous positions in his church as a Sunday school teacher, Bible study leader, treasurer, elder and mentor. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Born Aug. 4, 1940, in St. Louis County, he was the son of Verna (Viefhaus) and Lester Fick.

He is survived by his wife: Karen Craig; three daughters: Karen (Tim Walker) Moore, Sharon (Michael) Wernig and Nancy (Kevin) Enger; seven grandchildren: Jacob (Hope Brakenhoff) and Joseph Moore, Claire and Meredith Wernig and Amanda, Ashley and Anna Enger; three siblings: Warren (Phyllis) Fick, Darlene (William) Kieninger and Dianne (Leonard) Bingel; and numerous family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife of 51 years: Marlene Kay Fick; and a son-in-law: Clayton C. Wilson.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, at Peace Lutheran Church, 737 Barracksview Road, in St. Louis. Graveside service will be held immediately after at New St. Marcus Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorials may be made to the Lutheran High South Tuition Assistance Program or Champion Life Outreach, 1 Victory Drive, Pevely 63070. Arrangements are under the direction of John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home, south St. Louis County.
