Donald Freddie Dischbein, 83, of Hillsboro died Aug. 8, 2020, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Dischbein served in the National Guard and was a retired printing ink formulator at Flint Ink. He enjoyed fishing and Nascar racing and attended the First Assembly of God Church. Born April 5, 1937, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Freddie Dischbein and Burnett (Bremer) Kessinger.
He is survived by his wife: Charlene (Kenney) Dischbein of Hillsboro; a son: Donald W. Dischbein of Hillsboro; a half brother: Steven Dischbein of Leslie; and three half sisters.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Norvard “Butch” Dischbein; and a half brother: Freddie Dischbein Jr.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
