Donald Dean Dolph, 57, of Festus died Dec. 1, 2017, at his home. Mr. Dolph was a paramedic. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and designed a building in Connecticut while in the service. He enjoyed woodworking, reading, spending time with his dogs Rosa and Lucie, and collecting Native American, military, and war implements. Born Feb. 3, 1960, in St. Louis, he was the son of Martha “Kay” Medsker-Dolph of Herculaneum and Allen (Dorothy) Dolph of Festus.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Rebecca (Power) Dolph; three sons: Robbie (Elssy) Bingham of Japan, Scott (Laura) Bingham of Boston, Mass., and Chad Bingham of Pensacola, Fla.; three daughters: Jessica (Bryan) Hicklin of Farmington, Jami (Stephen) Milne of Imperial and Jaci (Adam) Baker of Imperial; a brother: David (Becky) Dolph of Washington, D.C.; a sister: Peggy (Mike) Almond of Festus; two nephews: Jamey Almond of St. Louis and A.J. Dolph of Kansas City; and 17 grandchildren.
Memorial visitation was held Dec. 5 at Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
