Donald Clifford Snodgrass, 87, of House Springs died April 11, 2019. Mr. Snodgrass built homes and concrete foundations. He was a longtime member of Faith Community Church in House Springs, and served in many of its ministries. Born March 15, 1932, in Keokee, Va., he was the son of the late Mossie (Herron) and Clifford Snodgrass.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years: Sara (Baker) Snodgrass; two sisters: Phyllis (Robert) Whitley and Katie (Robert) Sturgill; three children: Donald Snodgrass Jr., Martha (Steve) Hayes and Wanita (Gary) Foster; six grandchildren: Danyel, Christy, Stanley, Robert (Linda), Scott (Elisha) and Rachel; nine great-grandchildren: Katie, Samantha, Sabrina, Andrew, Rori, Zoey, Kaylee, Taylor and Tyler; and numerous family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Leonard Snodgrass, Ralph (Mary Sue) Snodgrass and Harold Snodgrass.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, April 15, at Faith Community Church, 4824 Scottsdale Road, in House Springs, followed immediately by funeral services. Memorials may be made to the Faith Community Church’s Giving Hope fund. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
