Domini Tinsley, 92, of Medon, Tenn., died Sept. 21, 2017, at her home. Mrs. Tinsley was a former factory worker and beautician and was a member of Malesus (Tenn.) Baptist Church. Born May 7, 1925, in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Mable (Dorner) Giraud. She was preceded in death by her husband: Mavin C. Tinsley.
She is survived by two sons: Frederick (Diane) Wooley of Medon, Tenn. and Leonard (Lyubov) Wooley of Potosi; a sister: Deloris Chambliss of Thida, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by a daughter: Phyllis Ferguson; three brothers: Raymond (the late Lisa) Giraud, Lewis “Louie” (the late Irmgard) Giraud, and Richard (the late Ursula) Giraud; a brother-in-law: Lyle Chambliss; and a great-great-grandson: Kevin James Paige III.
A visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W Main St., in Festus. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Mark Cagle. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Homes.
