Dolores Richardson, 84, of Festus died March 3, 2017, at Festus Manor. Mrs. Richardson was a homemaker. Born June 7, 1932, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Effie Katherine (Villmer) Lewis. She was preceded in death by her husband: Archie Richardson.
She is survived by six children: Marjorie (the late Clifford) Warncke of De Soto, Archie Richardson of St. Louis, Larry Richardson of Blackwell, Lester (Celeste) Richardson of Blackwell, David (Donna) Oster of De Soto and BaLinda (Ron) Beckett of Festus; three siblings: Norma (James) Marsden of Tonawanda, N.Y., Fay (the late Maurice) Pashia of Maryland Heights and Russell “Dick” (Barb) Lewis of De Soto; one sister-in-law: Dorothy Lewis of Highland, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son: Paul Oster; and three brothers: Donald “Bucky” (Lorene) Lewis, Kenneth Lewis and Glenn Lewis.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, at the funeral home, officiated by Gary Boyer. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
