Diane Marie Coleman, 68, of Festus died Sept. 18, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Coleman worked as an executive assistant at Adams Laboratories in Ft. Worth, Texas; as vice-president of business development at UMB Bank in Arnold; and as office manager for Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City, a life member of VFW Post 3777 Ladies Auxiliary and had served as president of the Ft. Worth, Texas, chapter of Executive Women International. She was born May 4, 1950, in St. Louis, the daughter of Juanita Louise (DeRousse) Swyers of Festus and the late James Earl Swyers.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband: Paul John Coleman; two sons: Bryon (Melissa) Coleman of Madison, Wis., and Christopher Coleman of Atlanta, Ga; a sister: Darlene (Jay) Beffa of Festus; three brothers: James L. (Roseanne) Swyers of Festus, Robert J. (Sandra) Swyers of Festus and Kevin E. (Jodi) Swyers of Portland, Ore.; three grandchildren: Kylie, Grayson, and Evie Coleman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Jeffrey P. Swyers and Keith R. Swyers.
A memorial service was held Sept. 21 at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus, officiated by the Rev. James Perry. Burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
