A 55-year-old Imperial man drowned May 1 in the Lake of the Ozarks, according to the Missoui State Highway Patrol.
The report states the man entered the water at 10:44 p.m. May 1 at the 10-mile marker on the Big Niangua arm of the lake “by unknown means and did not resurface.” The Camden County Medical Examiner’s Office pronounced the man dead at 1:24 a.m. May 2.
The Highway Patrol was assisted by the Camden County Sheriff’s Office and the Mid County Dive Team.
