Desmond Isaiah “D Money” Culton, 20, of Festus died Jan. 29, 2015, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Culton was a union carpenter and a member of Next Generation Church. He enjoyed sports and sports activities, cage fighting, trail bike riding and spending time with friends. Born June 3, 1994, in Festus, he was the son of Ricky Culton of Festus and April (Lyman Grant) Tyson of Florissant.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters: Liberty Binsbacher of Florissant and Serenity Culton (on the way); his grandparents: Paul and Joanna English of Festus; his great-grandmother: Annie (the late Bob) McAuley of Memphis, Tenn.; four brothers: Latrail Grant, Trey Grant, Shawn Grant and Lil Lyman Grant, all of Florissant; and two sisters: Dasia Grant and Laquietta Grant of Florissant.
He was preceded in death by two grandparents: Charles B. Culton and Norma Lee Culton.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins, in Festus. Funeral services are scheduled at noon on Saturday, Feb. 7, at the funeral home, officiated by Elder Charles Culton. Memorials may be made to the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
