Dennis O. Griggs, 65, of Potosi died Nov. 3, 2021, in Potosi. Mr. Griggs was a carpenter. Born May 30, 1956, in Fenton, he was the son of Zelda (Merritt) and Oral Griggs.
He is survived by his wife: Lola (Eisenhauer) Griggs; six siblings: Kathy (Ed) Jolliff, Marcia “Bitsie” Kuepfert, Marilynn “Tooter” (Don) Barton, Maria “Neci” (Steve Allen) Buck, Michelle “Shelly” (Kenny Moleski) Griggs and James Griggs Sr.; a sister-in-law: Fredi Griggs; and several family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Don, Terry and Larry Griggs.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the funeral home, officiated by David Griggs. Burial will be at Horine Cemetery in Richwoods. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
