Dennis G. "Den" Pinson ,70, of Hot Springs, Ark., died June 5, 2022, in Hot Springs. Mr. Pinson worked at several Sheltered Workshops in Jefferson and St. Louis County for many years.He attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic School and graduated from De Soto High School in 1971. In his free time, he loved listening to music, especially from the 60s and 70s, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals play. His specialty was making and keeping good friends, and he would receive well over 50 birthday and Christmas cards every year from his friends in Missouri and Arkansas. He spent the last 15 years with his brother in Hot Springs Village and enjoyed fishing at Lake Granada, golfing, and bowling with his many friends, but mostly enjoyed going out to eat catfish or hamburgers with fries and sweet tea at local restaurants. He only saw the good in people and in life. Born Jan. 22, 1952, in Washington County, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Ruth (Politte) Pinson.
He is survived by his brother: Robert (Emma) Pinson of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; a nephew: Scott Pinson; and many cousins and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at noon Friday, June 10, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in De Soto, officiated by Father Alexander Anderson. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
