Dennis “Denny” Blythe, 72, of House Springs died Jan. 22, 2021. Mr. Blythe retired from Chrysler in 2003 and was a member of the United Auto Workers Union. He went to the VFW in High Ridge every day and enjoyed working on cars, golfing, hunting, watching old movies and spending time with family members and friends. Born May 4, 1948, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Donald and Margaret (Kramer) Blythe. He was preceded in death by his wife: Cathy (Belter) Blythe.
He is survived by a son: David (Mary) Blythe; a grandson: Evan Blythe; three siblings: Donna Blythe, Robert “Bob” Blythe, Stan (Janine) Blythe; close family friends John, Russ, Ken, Sandy, Francis and Diane Bonnert; and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by close family friends Linda Bonnert and Darlene Bonnert.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial is in the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in High Ridge.
