Delois Guynes, 78, of De Soto died May 29, 2019, in De Soto. Mrs. Guynes was a homemaker. Born April 3, 1941, in Naylor, she was the daughter of the late Andy and Cecil (Hogans) Malding. She was preceded in death by her husband: George L. Guynes Jr.
She is survived by four children: William L. (Belinda) Guynes of De Soto, Karen S. (Ken) Clark of De Soto, Terry W. Guynes of Hillsboro and Danny L. Guynes of Farmington; one step-son: Terry L. Guynes; two siblings; six grandchildren: Shannon K. (Amanda) Clark, Nathan A. (Erin) Clark, Caleb Guynes, Samantha Guynes, Conner Guynes and Megan Guynes; and five great-grandchildren: Ava M. Clark, Olivia R. Clark, Eddie Clark, Savannah Clark and Nathan Clark II.
She was preceded in death by 13 siblings.
Graveside services will be Monday, June 3, at Williams Cemetery in Corning, Ark. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
