Delmar “Butch” Bell, 77, of St. Louis died Dec. 7, 2020. Mr. Bell was a longtime member and Shriner at the Masonic Lodge in Hillsboro. He enjoyed raccoon hunting, going to car shows, playing golf, and watching sports and NASCAR. Born Jan. 21, 1943, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Eugene and Bertha (Stevens) Bell.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years: Jean “Jeanie” Bell; a daughter: Melody (Jackie) Robinson; a granddaughter: Breanna; a great-granddaughter: Bailey; three siblings: Eugene (Nancy) Bell Jr., Betty Boucher and Carol (Bob) Wagner; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Tom Bell; a sister: Alberta Coughlin; and a brother-in-law: Bob Boucher.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 12) at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to the Masonic Lodge, 10798 Business 21, Hillsboro, 63050. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
