Delilah M. Blume, 89, St. Louis

Delilah M. Blume, 89, of St. Louis died Dec. 6, 2022, in St. Louis. Mrs. Blume was a homemaker. Born April 12, 1933, near Antigo, Wis., she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mae (Schisel) Kluwe.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Joseph A. Blume; and her special friend: Gustav Jason.

She is survived by four children: Deborah (James) Starling of Wentzville, Celeste (Gary) Newton of Festus, Joseph (Connie) Blume Jr. of Fenton, Robert (Davorka “Dada”) Blume of south St. Louis County; eight grandchildren: Joshua, Rachel and Nicole Newton, Aaron Binkley, Maggie (Steve) Heinze, and Jake Lukas and Alex Blume; four great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Aubrey, Amilia and Leo; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by 13 siblings.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5155 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, at Assumption Church, 4725 Mattis Road, in St. Louis County. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home in St. Louis.
