Dela Mae Ledbetter, 79, of High Ridge died March 24, 2018, in Fenton. Mrs. Ledbetter worked with United Van Lines for 37 years and was a proud member of the Amvets Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, taking her grandchildren camping and fishing, and going to bluegrass festivals. Born Jan. 19, 1939, in Mount Vernon, she was the daughter of the late Maxine (Elliott) and Bryan Orr.
She is survived by three children: Sherril Ledbetter of Hillsboro, Kevin Ledbetter of Fenton and Terry Ledbetter of Port Richey, Fla.; seven grandchildren: Jeremy, Ryan, Nick, Heather, Aaron, Jamie and Jason; many great-grandchildren; a brother: Charles Orr of Mount Vernon; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled at 1 p.m. and a funeral service at 2 p.m. Monday, April 2, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial is in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
