Debra Baumann, 68, of Barnhart died April 10, 2025. Ms. Baumann worked in retail and was Baptist. Born Jan. 15, 1957, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Noney May (Gay) and Ellsworth Jasper Bishop.
She is survived by three children: Charlie Bishop of Alton, Heather Bishop of Barnhart and Joshua Baumann of Barnhart; four siblings: Jenny (Alton) Ryals of Bland, Betty Hadding of Panama City, Fla., Effie Sturgill of DeFuniak, Fla., and Cindy (John) Meredith of Thayer; and five grandchildren: Destiny Martin of Barnhart, Joshua Baumann of St. Clair, Karmichael Baumann of Rolla, James Martin IV of Barnhart and Johnny Baumann of Rolla.
She was preceded in death by five siblings: Billy Bishop, Robert Bishop, Jasper Bishop Jr., Johnny Bishop, Orry Bishop, June Bishop and Hubert Bishop.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
