Debra Ann “Debbie” (Ringo) Voyles, 54, of Hillsboro died Feb. 14, 2014, at her home.
Ms. Voyles was a homemaker.
Born Nov. 8, 1959, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Jean (Verlin) Fishback of Hillsboro and the late James O. Ringo.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 27 years, Kevin “Bruce” Spahn of Hillsboro; a son: Nathan (Edith) Voyles of Fenton; a daughter: Kat (Paul) Smith of Alaska; five sisters: Paula (William) Peatross of Jonesburg, Theresa (Vincent) Coleman of Festus, Carolyn (Edward) Fishback of Hillsboro, Debbie (Walter) Droll of Imperial and Donna Maxey of Barnhart; three brothers: James (Joann) Ringo of Potosi, Dale (Cathy) Ringo of Hillsboro and Danny McCabe of Pacific; and four grandchildren: Zachria Eckelberger, Samantha Smith and Claudia Smith, all of Alaska, and Marshall Steffen of Festus.
She was preceded in death by four grandparents: Willie Tom Ringo, Naomi Willard, Eugene Savage and Pauline Knight; and a nephew: Matthew T. Ringo.
A memorial gathering for family and close friends will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at the Robert D. Brown Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Memorials may be made to the Matthew T. Ringo Memorial Scholarship. Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert D. Brown Funeral Home.
