David Richard Deaver, 67, of Festus died Oct. 28, 2021, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Deaver enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and shopping. Born Sept. 20, 1954, in Morrilton, Ark., he was the son of the late Ila Sue (Mourot) Russell and Billy David Deaver.
He is survived by two daughters: Brittney Deaver of Festus and Shanda Stevens of Festus; three sons: Chad (Shannon) Deaver of Castle Pines, Colo., Jeremy (Patsy) Deaver and Jason (Chelsey) Deaver, both of Austin, Texas; a sister: Pamela Fletcher of Chesterfield; a brother: Allen (Karen) Deaver of Conway, Ark.; and 17 grandchildren: Madison, Keira and Gavin Urfer, Kaylee Duspiwa, Ayden, Lilly and Kenzie Stevens and Camri, Vanessa, Sabrina, Payton, Seela, Easten, Landry, Cora, Jordan and Jaxon Deaver.
Memorial gathering will be from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, immediately followed by funeral services. Memorials may be made to Mended Hearts. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
