David R. Morris, 66, of Hillsboro died Oct. 31, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Morris worked as a machinist for Boeing. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and fast cars. Born March 28, 1955, in Fredericktown, he was the son of Norma (Wray) Morris and the late William Morris.
He is survived by two sons: Anthony (Patricia) Morris and Joe Bridges; a sister: Beverly (Ken) Westlake; a brother: Dennis (Sue) Morris; a grandchild: Logan Morris; two great-grandchildren: Kailynn and Jacksen Morris; and five nieces and nephews: Paul, Adam, Joe, Ken Jr. and Amanda.
He was preceded in death by a son: Josh Morris.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 4) at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 6) at Follis and Sons Funeral Home, 700 Madison Plaza Drive, in Fredericktown. Burial will be in Mount Pisgah Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Homes and Follis and Sons Funeral Home.
