David N. Summers, 59, of Imperial died Nov. 17, 2018, in Imperial. Mr. Summers was a carpenter and a member of the Carpenters Union Local No. 73. Born Sept. 8, 1959, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Martha H. (Pellum) and Dr. John B. Summers.
He is survived by his wife: Sheryl L. (Hale) Summers; a son: Richard Summers of Arnold; a daughter: Tracy Barlow of Festus; a sister: Nancy (Keith) Hall of St. Louis; a brother: John B. (Linda) Summers of Ste. Genevieve; a sister-in-law: Faustina Summers of St. Louis; and two grandsons: Tyler Barlow and Tristian Summers, both of Festus.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Daniel Summers of St. Louis.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Missouri, the Wounded Warrior Project or any animal rescue center. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
