
David L. Seiferd, 75, of Hillsboro died May 14, 2022, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, Mr. Seiferd was a U.S. Army veteran and a Mason. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service and was of the Catholic faith. He was a member of the VWF post in Cedar Hill. Born July 20, 1946, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Lucille (Szydlowski) and Lester Seiferd. He was preceded in death by his wife of 26 years: Pamela Seiferd.
He is survived by four children: Michelle (James) Churchill, Lisa (Russell) Murry, David H. Seiferd and Jeremy (Angie) Burke; seven grandchildren: Bode, Shelby Ray, Zachary, John, Alexis, Olivia and Jimmy; and five great-grandchildren: Edwin, Armani, Asher, Austin and Ezra.
He was preceded in death by one sibling: Frank Seiferd.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, at Kutis Funeral Home. Burial is in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the VFW. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
