David E. Keckley, 58, of De Soto died Jan. 23, 2018, in De Soto. Mr. Keckley was a machinist for United Engineering. Born July 20, 1959, in St. Louis, he was the son of Carl “Pete” and Mary Lou (Meppiel) Keckley of Bonne Terre.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Kathy (Brawley) Keckley of De Soto; a son: David Paul (Sabrina) Keckley of Wilmington, N.C.; two stepchildren: Shawn (Erin Garner) Joedicke of De Soto and Vronica (Kendill) Joedicke-Gordon of south St. Louis County; two siblings: Ronnie (Cindy) Keckley of Herculaneum and Karin Keckley of San Marcos, Calif.; one grandson: David S. Keckley; five step-grandchildren: Katelyn, Taylor, Mason, Khali and Milahni; and two nephews: Cody Westover and Nolan Keckley.
A funeral service was held Jan. 26 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto, officiated by Pastor Rich Grayson. Burial was in WoodlawnCemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
