David Alan Forister, 67, of St. Louis died Jan. 6, 2023, in St. Louis. Mr. Forister was a mechanic. Born Nov. 2, 1955, in Frankfurt, Germany, he was the son of the late Eugene and Betty (Dobbs) Forister.
He is survived by his companion: Toni Forister of St. Louis; three children: Dawn (Cody) Christopher of De Soto, Joey Butler of St. Louis and Robert Hammack of St. Louis; four siblings: Betty Jean Berti of Festus, Dennis (Pam) Forister of Imperial, Mike (Vicki) Forister of St. Louis and Brenda Forister of St. Louis; and three grandchildren: Rebecca and Zachary Light and Kayla Gann.
He was preceded in death by a sibling: Gary Forister; and his bonus dad: Earl Jones.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until a service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Sullivan. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Homes.
