Darrell Lee Cruise, 69, of Grubville, formerly of Dittmer, died July 14, 2020, at his home. Mr. Cruise was a retired foundation carpenter and owner of Mustang Muscle Performance Shop. He was born Sept. 3, 1950, in Cook County, Ill., the son of the late Joy (Andrews) and Homer Cruise.
He is survived by his wife: Laura (Sprock) Cruise, whom he married May 9, 1975, in Union; a son: Matthew (Nicole) Cruise of Dittmer; a daughter: Katie Cruise of Cedar Hill; a sister: Diane (Bob) Doyle of Florida; a brother: David Cruise of Florida; and three grandchildren: Shelby, Lucas and Devon.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 2-7 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at Robert D. Brown Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with a memorial service at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Memorials may be made to the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home.
