Daniel J. Houser, 81, of Arnold died Nov. 13, 2015, at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County. Mr. Houser was a civil engineer, retired from Parson and Brinckerhoff. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Arnold. Born Dec. 7, 1933, in Bonne Terre, he was the son of the late John W. and Essie A. (Rickard) Houser.
He is survived by his wife: Ruth Ann (Reuter) Houser; three children: Rachel (Gregg) Wilhelm, Jonathan, and Joel (Teri) Houser; and two grandchildren: Josi and Tori Houser.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Samuel.
Visitation is at 9:30 a.m. and a service of praise will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3517 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. Burial was private. Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Bible Translators. Arrangements were under the direction of St. Louis Cremation.
